MALAYSIA/ CHINA, 02/07/2024 (Asia News Channels) - On June 29, the Malaysian online business platform Guoann Dot Com Bhd (Guoann.com) and Xi'an Xinglian Technology and Trade Industrial Research Institute held a "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement Signing Event" at the Talent Building in the Energy and Financial Trade Zone of Xixian New Area. 

This event aimed to promote cooperation between Xi'an and Malaysia in various sectors such as trade, education, dining, and legal affairs, marking a significant step in the 50th anniversary of Malaysia-China diplomatic relations and the "Malaysia-China Friendship Year."

Malaysian Consul General in Xi'an, Mr. Lum Wan Liang, delivered the opening speech at the signing event. He highlighted the immense potential for cooperation between the two countries in multiple fields. He expressed that this event would build a bridge for enterprises from both nations, fostering deeper bilateral relations. Mr. Teo Kok Ann, President of Guoann.com, and Mr. Zhang Jin Chuan, Vice Chairman of Xi'an Xinglian Technology and Trade Industrial Research Institute, also spoke, emphasizing the positive impact of this cooperation.

The highlight of the event was the signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between Xi'an Xinglian Technology and Trade Industrial Research Institute and Guoann.com. This agreement signifies deeper and broader cooperation between the two countries in economic, technological, and new media fields. Mr. Wang Guo Long, former Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, stated that this cooperation would not only help Xi'an enterprises to expand internationally but also lay a solid foundation for future multi-field collaborations between the two nations.
